Mirae: Saju & Elements ("Mirae", "we", "our", "us") is a Korean astrology (Saju) personality and insight app published by Blue King Code. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Mirae mobile application (iOS and Android) and related services.
By using Mirae, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Account credentials: Email address (if using email sign-in), or authentication tokens from Apple ID or Google Sign-In. We do not store your Apple or Google passwords.
- Birth data: Date of birth, time of birth (optional), birth city, and gender. This data is required to generate your Saju (Four Pillars) chart.
- Display name: A name you choose during onboarding, visible to connections you accept.
- Journal notes: Optional personal notes you write within the app, stored in your private account.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device locale and language: Used to display the app in your preferred language.
- Device timezone: Used for accurate daily energy and reading calculations.
- Crash reports: Anonymous crash data via Sentry for app stability. No personal data is included in crash reports.
- Analytics events: Anonymous usage events (e.g., reading viewed, feature used) via Amplitude to improve the app. No birth data or reading content is included in analytics.
2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect precise GPS location. Birth city coordinates are used only for timezone calculation.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third-party advertisers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Generate your Saju chart: Birth data is processed server-side to compute your Four Pillars, element balance, and personality insights.
- Provide AI-powered readings: Your chart data is sent to AI language models (Anthropic Claude) to generate personalized readings. We do not share your name or email with AI providers — only anonymized chart data.
- Enable social features: Your display name, day master element, and element balance are visible to connections you accept and on the discovery feed (if you opt in).
- Process payments: Subscription and credit purchases are handled by RevenueCat and Apple/Google platform billing. We do not store credit card information.
- Send notifications: Push notifications (if enabled) via Firebase Cloud Messaging for daily energy reminders, reading alerts, and connection requests.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring you can only access your own data.
- All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest.
- Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth with secure session management.
- API keys and sensitive credentials are stored server-side only and never exposed to the client app.
5. Third-Party Services
Mirae uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase: Authentication, database, and serverless functions (EU/US hosted).
- Anthropic (Claude): AI language models for generating reading content. Only anonymized chart data is sent.
- RevenueCat: Subscription and in-app purchase management.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging: Push notification delivery.
- Amplitude: Anonymous product analytics.
- Sentry: Anonymous crash reporting.
- Google Maps / Places: Birth city search during onboarding only.
6. Data Retention
- Your account data is retained as long as your account is active.
- Reading history is retained indefinitely for your reference.
- If you sign out, your data remains associated with your account for when you sign back in.

7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing (e.g., discovery feed visibility, push notifications).

8. Children's Privacy
Mirae is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
